An estimated 18,000 people are expected to attend the 2013 Destination Imagination Global Finals competition to be held at the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville Convention Center May 22-25.

City officials and dog lovers have two weeks left to nominate their towns to compete in the third-annual PetSafe “Bark for Your Park” contest, which awards a total of $200,000 in funding for U.S. cities to build local off-leash dog parks.
