MoxCar Marketing + Communications offers a summer internship and currently participates in the Knoxville-Knox County Sports Authority College Internship Program.
MoxCar seeks intern candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to work within an agency setting. We select college juniors, seniors or graduate students in public relations, journalism, communication, marketing and related fields. Interns assist with writing, story pitches, social media, research, marketing strategy, office support and other duties.
For this paid, part-time internship, interns must be able to work in-person at the MoxCar Marketing + Communications downtown Knoxville office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a total of 24 hours per week with agreed upon time period from May-August (specific start and end dates to be discussed). Downtown parking is provided.

Get real client work in your portfolio and see what it’s like to design at an agency.
You’ll assist with actual client assignments for brand identities, social media and digital graphics, print and direct mail. Our clients span many industries, so each project has its own goals and audience. You’ll work alongside our design team in a collaborative office. We’re looking for a quick-thinking creative problem solver who can juggle several projects, adapt to different brand styles and welcome feedback. You’ll need basic skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva, plus experience working on a Mac.
This is a paid, part-time internship. You’ll work 24 hours a week in person at our downtown Knoxville office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We hire for fall, spring and summer, and start and end dates are flexible. We provide a workstation and parking.
