Job seekers have an opportunity to meet with nearly two dozen recruiters in one stop this week at South College. On Thursday, May 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., the educational institution will host a career fair for its students and the community on campus at 3904 Lonas Drive.

Today, South College was notified by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education that Full Accreditation was granted to the South College School of Pharmacy, a milestone achievement for the higher education institution.

South College School of Pharmacy students are immersed in learning about prescription medications, but they also promote wellness in hopes of preventing diseases that cause the public to have to visit them.

The South College Professional Brewing Science certificate program will sponsor the third annual Tennessee Winter Beer Fest at the Laurel Valley Country Club in Townsend. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the New Hope Blount County Children’s Advocacy Center.
