Thanks to the sponsors and volunteers of Free Flu Shot Saturday, 5,102 East Tennesseans received free flu vaccinations today, and $23,411.73 was raised for the Knoxville News Sentinel’s Empty Stocking Fund.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra kicks off the Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series and the 2013-14 season with “Eroica Trio Plays Beethoven” on September 19 & 20. Maestro Lucas Richman conducts the Orchestra, joined by guest artists the Eroica Trio. The concert will take place on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre. These performances are sponsored by Twin City Dealerships.
