To kick off the company’s local United Way giving campaign, U.S. Cellular presented a $10,000 corporate gift to the United Way of Greater Knoxville.

Gerdau’s Knoxville plant has again earned the ISO 14001 certification, an international distinction that recognizes the mill’s environmental management system. The plant first pursued and achieved this voluntary certification in 2007. Its 2013 certification recently became official.

The center offers Kingsport residents and visitors year-round access to aquatic fitness and recreation activities. The City of Kingsport has earned statewide recognition for the Kingsport Aquatic Center, a rousing recreational success in East Tennessee.
