Woods was honored for the creation and implementation of an innovative firefighting training program integrated into the curriculum of South-Doyle High School. The Insurance Professionals of Greater Knoxville (IPGK) has named Rural/Metro Lieutenant Brian Woods as the Firefighter of the Year for the Knoxville area.
