Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) has announced the appointment of new board officers following its annual board meeting.

Armada Bar, a locally owned establishment in the Old City, has partnered with Young-Williams Animal Center to raise money for the shelter in June.

Starting Monday, June 2, Young-Williams Animal Center is offering an adoption special in support of National Pet Appreciation Week, June 2-8. The weeklong event is a chance for the community to show pets how much they are appreciated.
