Cast members of the Broadway hit “Mary Poppins” visited and entertained patients at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital on Thursday, March 7.

The Tennessee Theatre marked its one millionth patron to the historic theatre since the building’s complete restoration in 2005 at the opening night of the Broadway musical “Mary Poppins” on March 5.

The Kingsport Aquatic Center will soon making a big splash in our community. The region’s newest, most comprehensive public aquatic and recreation facility is scheduled to open in mid-May and details are being finalized, including the cost of using the new facility.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra continues its Knoxville News Sentinel POPS Series with The Streisand Songbook on March 16. Resident Conductor James Fellenbaum conducts the Orchestra, joined by guest vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium.
