Knoxville City Council recently announced the appointment of Randy Fields of Messer Construction Co. to the Public Assembly Facilities Board of Directors.

Wojciech Kopec of Searcy, Ark., won the ninth annual Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon on Sunday, April 7. In a field of about 7,500 participants in six races, Kopec finished the 26.2-mile men’s full marathon with a time of 2:22:15.
