Apr. 30, 2013The Aslan Foundation Board welcomed Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett to the site of the future High Ground Park on Tuesday, April 30, to update the mayors on plans for the project. Construction will begin on the low-impact park in two weeks to preserve the natural beauty of South Knoxville and historic Civil War-era Fort Higley.
