Young-Williams Animal Center is reducing adoption fees this weekend, Jan. 24-26, in honor of the national “Change a Pet’s Life Day.”

If a friend or family member has a new pet atop the Christmas wish list, the time is right for adoption from Young-Williams Animal Center with the Home for the Holidays adoption special.

Whether your four-legged friend has been naughty or nice or both, have your pet’s photo taken with Santa Paws this holiday season.

Young-Williams Animal Center is one of 38 animal rescue organizations nationwide that have received funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) to participate in the Mega Match-a-thon adoption event Oct. 18-20.

With the shelter overrun with adoptable dogs, Young-Williams Animal Center is starting the Furry Fall Festival celebration early. From Friday-Sunday, Oct. 4-6, all dog adoption fees will be reduced.

It’s the summer of cats here in Knoxville. With an overwhelming number of adoptable felines at the shelter, Young-Williams Animal Center is reducing adoption fees for cats and kittens through the month of July.

A $6,000 award from the 2012 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge helped Young-Williams Animal Center move a step closer in fulfilling its mission to reduce the pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering more animals.

Central Flats & Taps will host a dog-friendly Father’s Day Patio Party on Sunday, June 16, from noon-5 p.m. in support of Young-Williams Animal Center.
