The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will host the KSO 31th Annual Free Pilot Flying J Independence Day Concert on July 4, 2015 at World’s Fair Park at 8:00 p.m.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will conclude the 2014-2015 Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series with concerts entitled “Lucas Richman’s Finale.” These performances, sponsored by Thermal Label Warehouse, will take place on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre.

The 28th annual Knoxville Symphony League Show House features the handiwork of local designers in one of Knoxville’s most historic neighborhoods. The Show House will be open April 10-26, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra welcomes two talented guest artists for the next Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastorale.” Guest conductor Vladimir Kulenovic leads the Orchestra in music of Beethoven and Smetana, featuring pianist Antti Siirala for Rachmaninoff’s First Piano Concerto.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra announces the 2015-2016 season of the Knoxville News Sentinel Pops Series. Subscriptions are on sale now starting at $105 and current subscribers have first chance to renew their subscriptions and retain their seats. Single tickets will go on sale in August 2015.

The Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association (KSYOA) will present TWO winter concerts on Sunday, Feb. 22 at the Tennessee Theatre, featuring all five youth orchestras and the winners of the 2014-15 Concerto Competition. These concerts are sponsored by Scripps Networks Interactive.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will perform Antonin Dvořák’s Stabat Mater as part of the Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series. Maestro Lucas Richman leads the Orchestra joined by the Knoxville Choral Society and four soloists for this powerful piece. The concert will take place on Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre. These performances are sponsored by Partners Development. Tickets start at just $15.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra has announced the 2015-2016 Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series and the Chamber Classics Series in addition to the launch of its Music Director search.

The Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra will be featured in A Night with the Arts: A Celebration Concert in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 19, 6 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre. This concert, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Lura-Lee G. & William E. Lange Foundation, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville with support from Knox County Commissioner Amy Broyles.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Chamber Classics Series continues with Orchestra Soloists on January 11. Maestro Lucas Richman conducts the Chamber Orchestra featuring solos by Principal Trumpet Phillip Chase Hawkins and KSO Principal Bassoon Aaron Apaza. The concert will take place on Sunday, January 11 at 2:30 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre. This performance is sponsored by DeRoyal, with support from the Aslan Foundation.
