Nov. 20, 2013Gerdau employees recently purchased and packed 30 boxes of food, each containing a complete Thanksgiving meal large enough to feed up to six people, in support of Knox Area Rescue Ministries’ “Baskets of Hope” community food giveaway initiative. GERDAU PRESENTS SCHOLARSHIP TO LONG-TIME EMPLOYEE’S DAUGHTER
May. 28, 2013Gerdau recently awarded local high school student Adelyn Bryson a $10,000 scholarship to attend Maryville College this fall. She is the daughter of James “Woody” Bryson, a 10-year Gerdau employee who works in the factory’s rolling mill.
