The Trust Company of Tennessee raises more than $147,000 for United Way

The Trust Company of Tennessee raised $147,129 for the United Way through its employee campaign that featured a variety of fundraisers and awareness events, including a kickoff, Singo – the singing version of bingo – garage and bake sales, and an announcement celebrating the firm exceeding its $145,000 goal.

The Trust Company of Tennessee raised more than $147,000 for the United Way campaign through a variety of fundraising events including a bake sale during October.

Founded in 1987 and with offices in Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Tri-Cities, The Trust Company of Tennessee helps individuals, families, business owners and nonprofits make better financial decisions through wealth management, personal investment strategy, corporate retirement plans, estate planning, personal trust and nonprofit investing services.

Through payroll deductions, special events, personal donations and a corporate contribution, employees at The Trust Company raised $147,129 through this year’s campaign, eclipsing the firm’s previous United Way fundraisers. Most of the funds will go to the United Way of Greater Knoxville, but donations by remote employees will be allocated to benefit their local United Way office, including Chattanooga.

The Trust Company of Tennessee budgets $300,000 each year to contribute to community support and engagement.
