South College Pittsburgh held commencement ceremonies on June 19 to celebrate students graduating from its growing healthcare education programs. Approximately 153 students crossed the stage and celebrated the milestone with loved ones after successfully completing programs including Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nursing, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technology.

“The Pittsburgh area is a major hub for the healthcare industry, and we pride ourselves on preparing our graduates to be highly skilled employees,” South College Pittsburgh President Dr. Anne Petrella said. “The students at the 2026 commencement ceremony believed in themselves and demonstrated the commitment to achieve their goals. I want to congratulate all our graduates and wish them continued professional success.”
The ceremony took place at Steamfitters Event Center and included remarks from Ethan Nicholas, president of the Pittsburgh Business Exchange.
Located in Pittsburgh’s North Hills community in Cranberry Township, the South College campus offers a variety of healthcare programs, including Bachelor of Science in Nursing and healthcare-centric Associate of Science programs in Surgical Technology, Nursing, Health Science (Pre-Nursing), Radiography, Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Respiratory Therapy, along with certificate programs in Practical Nursing and other related programs.

The campus offers modern laboratories for surgical technology, ultrasound, radiography and nursing; lecture classrooms with smart technology; a student break room; and a resource center.
