In recognition of Veterans Day, South College will offer free dental services for military veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Dental Clinic on the Nashville campus in partnership with the Tennessee Titans.
The public clinic, located at 616 Marriott Drive, will serve military veterans with routine cleanings from 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Up to 40 appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“We are deeply thankful to our veterans for their service,” said Nick South, president of South College’s Nashville campus. “This is one small way we can give back and ensure they receive the dental care they deserve. We welcome them to South College for this event and beyond.”
Veterans are encouraged to reserve an appointment by Nov. 10 by calling 629-802-3221. Walk-ins also are welcome, though availability may be limited. In addition to routine cleanings, South College will offer X-rays and deep cleanings and will assist veterans in scheduling any follow-up care. If appointments fill up or a veteran is unavailable on Nov. 11, South College will extend the free services to veterans on other dates that fit their schedules.
Representatives from the Tennessee Titans will also visit the clinic between 10:30 a.m.-noon to surprise patients and demonstrate their support.

The South College Nashville Dental Clinic offers various routine and specialized dental services to the community, including children’s services. Students provide hands-on care under the supervision of licensed Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) professionals.
As a community service, the clinic provides discounts year-round to active-duty military, first responders and seniors age 65 and over. Veterans are always eligible to receive services free of charge. More information, including a list of services and fees, is available at south.edu/department/nashville-public-dental-clinic.
