Showhouse event to delight residents and fundraise for local charity

Sep. 08, 2023

Knoxville area residents and visitors are invited to collect home decorating tips and inspiration and support a charitable cause at the 4th annual Stacy Jacobi Home Showhouse this fall.

Open from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, the 5,000-square-foot home is located in Sequoyah Hills in West Knoxville and features the handiwork of some of the area’s most prestigious local designers and artisans. The residence, which also will be for sale, is located at 926 Keowee Ave., and will be open Friday through Monday from 12-5 p.m.

“The goal of the showhouse is to renovate old homes while keeping as much of their original features as possible,” said Stacy Jacobi, principal owner of Stacy Jacobi Homes and Realtor with Keller Williams Signature Real Estate. “Knoxville has a rich architectural history, and we want to preserve that history for generations to come.”

Jacobi renovated the 1929 Mediterranean home while also embracing its traditional features such as plaster walls, marble fireplace, several interior and exterior doors, and the tiled roof. Renovations include an updated kitchen and bathrooms and the addition of a primary bedroom downstairs with a bathroom, closet and laundry room. The guest house also has been updated with a remodeled bathroom and kitchenette.

In addition to providing tours to guests and prospective buyers, Jacobi’s objective for the showhouse is to raise funds for a selected local charity. This year, all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Adoption Center of Catholic Charities of East Tennessee (CCETN).

“I love this community and I am always looking for ways to do my part and give back,” Jacobi said. “This year we are elated to announce that the event is supporting the Adoption Center of CCETN. Our family carries a special understanding of the adoption process and how it can make such a positive impact in the lives of children, so it’s an honor to be able to contribute to such an important mission.”

Tickets to the event are $30 per person and can be purchased at the door using cash or card. For more information, visit stacyjacobihome.com.

“We’re grateful to be part of such an exciting and important event,” said Lori Sliwa, development manager for CCETN. “The financial support provided by the showhouse is going to help us offer much needed resources and adoption benefits to birth mothers, children being placed for adoption and adoptive parents.”

Past charities that have been supported through the Stacy Jacobi Home Showhouse include Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, Lakeshore Park Conservancy and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.

Jacobi renovated and designed the 2023 Showhouse and selected local designers to decorate each room with furniture and art. Partners include:

  • Natalie Braden Thomas of Braden’s Lifestyle Home Staging
  • Caroline Levenson of Caroline Levenson Design
  • Natalie Clayman of Natalie Clayman Interior Design
  • Brooke Phillips of Brooke Phillips Designs
