MoxCar Marketing + Communications has hired Grant Mitchell as an account associate to assist the firm in serving client needs across a range of services.
“Grant enjoys storytelling and working in a collaborative environment, so this position plays to his strengths and passions,” MoxCar CEO Lauren Miller said. “He is professional, organized, thoughtful and attentive to detail, and he takes the extra step when crafting strategy and executing projects. We’re happy to welcome Grant to our team.”
Mitchell previously served as account coordinator and graduate intern for Fletcher Marketing PR and has completed several internships to refine skills in marketing, media relations, client relations and content development.
“Every day brings a variety of projects and opportunities from our clients, and it is energizing to take ownership of projects and help elevate brands,” Mitchell said. “When I interviewed for the position, I was inspired by the new vision for the company, and it’s a pleasure to now be a part of this group.”
Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and is on track to complete a master’s degree in advertising and public relations in August from the University of Tennessee. He served on UT’s Campus Events Board, where he gained experience in event management, and was a contributing opinion columnist for The Daily Beacon, with over 100 articles published, including a weekly column called “Film according to Grant.”
He lives in Knoxville and enjoys movies, TV shows and swimming. He’s also learning how to play the guitar and speak Spanish.
