The Knoxville Area Urban League, a proponent of economic self-suffiency, will host a job fair in partnership with Home Depot, which is hiring full- and part-time positions at its four Knoxville locations.
The hiring event will take place Thursday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Knoxville Area Urban League’s headquarters, 1514 E. Fifth Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
“A job fair perfectly aligns with our mission to help people achieve economic stability,” said Phyllis Y. Nichols, president and CEO of the Knoxville Area Urban League. “We are grateful to Home Depot for coming to us to help find a skilled and diverse workforce for their stores.”
The national home improvement retailer has four locations in Knoxville: 4710 Centerline Drive (East); 9361 Kingston Pike (West); 2751 Schaad Road (North); and 140 Green Road (South).
Home Depot is filling sales, customer service, cashier, lot and freight positions. Applicants should complete an online application at http://careers.homedepot.com/. Applicants also should arrive at the hiring event with an updated resume and be prepared for job interviews and the possibility of on-site offers.
