John Craig Howell, a 2013 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, has joined Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop as an associate practicing in the firm’s Nashville office.
A leader in law school, Howell was a member of the James Clark McReynolds Trial Advocacy Team, class representative for the Student Bar Association, and Symposium Editor for the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender & Social Justice. He also worked as an Intern in the Department of Justice Office of Legislative Affairs and the Federal Defender Services of Eastern Tennessee.
“John Craig is an accomplished student who has demonstrated exceptional legal skills,” said Lisa Cole, President of Lewis King and managing shareholder of the firm’s Nashville office. “He will be practicing in the areas of employment law, general civil litigation and workers’ compensation, where we expect he will thrive.”
Howell earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 from Sewanee: The University of the South, where he majored in American History with a minor in Political Science.
Lewis King was founded in 1960 and today has 58 attorneys in its three offices in Nashville, Knoxville and Sevierville.
