Covenant Health celebrates opening of Northshore urgent care clinic

Covenant Health cut the ribbon to officially open Covenant Health Urgent Care-Northshore at 902 Osprey Pointe Lane on Dec. 15. Covenant Health and community leaders officially opened Covenant Health Urgent Care-Northshore with a Dec. 15. ribbon cutting to celebrate the not-for-profit hospital system’s seventh urgent care clinic.

The new clinic, located at 902 Osprey Pointe Lane off Northshore Drive in Knoxville, expands access to fast, friendly and affordable healthcare for East Tennessee families. The facility offers medical care and diagnostic services, including X-rays, labs and bloodwork, and flu and COVID-19 testing.

“Covenant Health Urgent Care clinics provide convenient and compassionate medical services, ensuring families receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place,” Covenant Health CEO Jim VanderSteeg said. “This new Northshore location adds another accessible option for West Knoxville families to receive timely treatment, reduce healthcare costs and allow emergency departments to prioritize the most serious cases.

Covenant Health operates six other Urgent Care locations, including Farragut, Maryville North, Maryville South, North Knoxville, Sevierville and South Knoxville. Two additional locations are planned for Cumberland Avenue and Hardin Valley.

The enhancement of access to high-quality medical care across Covenant Health’s 25-county footprint reflects its commitment to improve quality of life in East Tennessee through better health.

Covenant Health Urgent Care-Northshore accepts most major insurance plans and will began seeing patients Dec. 16.
