Moxley Carmichael, a leading East Tennessee public relations firm, has promoted Amanda Shell Jennings to senior account executive and appointed her to the firm’s executive team.
Jennings has developed and implemented public relations plans and strategies for local and regional clients such as Priority Ambulance, Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville Convention Center, Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation and US Nitrogen.
From media and government relations to communication strategy, research and event planning, Jennings has a reputation for going above and beyond to create positive momentum for her clients and spread the word about their achievements.

Before graduating from the University of Tennessee, Jennings served two terms as a Moxley Carmichael intern. She joined the firm as an account executive in 2011 after returning from her last semester abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Jennings served on the board of the Knoxville American Marketing Association from 2012 to 2015. Originally from Knoxville, Jennings graduated from UT with a degree in journalism and electronic media with a minor in Spanish.
Jennings and her husband, Mark, were married in 2014. They live in West Knoxville with their dog, Elphie, who was adopted from Young-Williams Animal Center, and enjoy traveling.
