Rodney A. Fields has been named the managing partner of the law firm Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C.’s Knoxville office. Fields joined the firm in 1991 and became a Shareholder in 1997. He serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and manages Lewis King’s Business Practice Group.
In addition, Lisa Ramsay Cole was recently elected the firm’s president and managing shareholder. She became managing partner of the firm’s Nashville office in 2011 and will retain that position as well.

We are certain that under his leadership Lewis King in Knoxville will continue to grow and prosper.”
Fields graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1991. Prior to attending law school, he graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

At the firm, Fields divides his practice between litigation and transactional work. His practice focuses primarily in the areas of business law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and casualty defense litigation. He also serves as legal counsel to multiple local motor vehicle dealerships and national motor vehicle dealership groups. His practice in this area has also expanded to the representation of motor vehicle manufacturers and consumer lenders.
Fields is active in professional organizations and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past member of the American Judicature Society and the American Inns of Court.
Fields is married to Lea Ann Fields and they have two children, Kelsey and Kristin. They reside in West Knoxville.
Lewis King was founded in 1960 and today has 59 attorneys in its three offices in Nashville, Knoxville and Sevierville.
