Land Rover Knoxville has moved into its just-finished location at 10556 Parkside Drive in West Knoxville. Parkside Auto, a new business that will sell all makes and models of pre-owned vehicles, will take over Land Rover’s former location at 10215 Parkside Drive.
John Hodges, general manager of Land Rover Knoxville, said the dealership’s new location will be larger, allowing more room to showcase vehicles and to comfortably accommodate customers. This is important because Land Rover Knoxville is the only certified Land Rover store in Knoxville for sales and services that are covered under vehicles’ warranties.
“We have a huge inventory to display, and we do a bustling service business, so this move will be a great advantage for customers looking for a new vehicle and for those getting their current Land Rover brands serviced,” Hodges said.
The new Parkside Auto, going into Land Rover Knoxville’s previous address, will offer a carefully curated selection of pre-owned vehicles of all makes and models and will feature a “one price, no-haggling approach” that customers want, said Jeff Bender, general manager of Parkside Auto.
“Parkside Auto will offer a fresh new way to buy a pre-owned vehicle,” Bender said. “We think our customers – new and returning – will love the latest way to purchase a vehicle when our cutting-edge showroom opens in February.”
The new Land Rover location is adjacent to Knoxville Motor Company BodyWerks at 10580 Parkside Drive, a premier body care and collision repair facility for all makes and models.
With the opening of the new Parkside Auto showroom, Furrow Automotive Group will own four facilities within a mile of each other in West Knoxville: Land Rover Knoxville at 10556 Parkside Drive, BodyWerks at 10580 Parkside Drive, Parkside Auto at 10215 Parkside Drive and Mercedes-Benz of Knoxville at 10131 Parkside Drive.
“You will be able to buy, sell and get your vehicle repaired, serviced or detailed – all within a square mile,” said Lee Ann Furrow Tolsma, president of Furrow Automotive Group.
Land Rover Knoxville currently is open for business in its new location Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit landroverknoxville.com for more information.
