Downtown Knoxville businesses on a ‘hiring spree’: Hundreds of jobs available

Sixty Downtown Knoxville businesses are hiring.

Sixty businesses in downtown Knoxville are hiring from front desk staff to back-of-house workers, with hundreds of opportunities available.

Downtown Knoxville Alliance has a list of the openings, including those in restaurant, retail and the service industry, at downtownknoxville.org/hiring for both full- and part-time positions.

“Downtown Knoxville business is strong, and owners are on a hiring spree to meet the demand,” said Michele Hummel, executive director of the Downtown Knoxville Alliance. “Established businesses and those preparing to open have a variety of positions to fill. Opportunity and energy abound in our city center, making now the ideal time to apply!”

Downtown Knoxville Alliance’s long list of openings makes it easy for people to find a job with details about expected hours, needed experience and how to apply. The webpage is a one-stop place for employment this fall.
